Landport Lodge has close links with the Capstan Group which is an amity & social group which was started and managed by two senior members of Landport Lodge in 2013 and who are still involved today.
The Capstan Group was set up to provide support for masonic widows, widowers and elderly brethren in the South East area of the Masonic Province of Hampshire. It is based at Purbrook Masonic Centre in Stakes Road, Purbrook and meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 11.00 a.m. The group aims to provide a wide range of activities including luncheons and theatre trips.
